Facing elite competitors from around the world, Rai entered the Chinese Creative category (35+ division) with determination and precision. In a highly competitive final, he went head-to-head with a strong Austrian opponent and delivered an outstanding performance to claim the gold medal. This victory was not only a personal milestone but also a historic achievement that placed him among Nepal’s top international martial artists.
What made his Slovenia campaign even more impressive was his ability to perform across disciplines. Alongside his gold medal win, Rai also secured a bronze medal in the Traditional Martial Arts division, highlighting his versatility, technical depth, and adaptability in different styles of martial arts.
